My name is Katie Diaz Hughes, and I’m the cofounder and co-owner of Evolve Therapeutic Center, a place where individuals can find solace, support, and guidance as they navigate life’s challenges. I’m honored to be part of an exceptional team of dedicated and passionate clinicians who share my commitment to delivering compassionate and effective care.
In my work, I’ve come to realize that healing is not a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why I’ve incorporated various modalities into my practice, including somatic work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), nature-based therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and breath work. As a certified yoga alliance 200-hour instructor, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of body-awareness and conscious movement.
My approach is centered around creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their stories, connect with their inner selves, and navigate the complexities of grief and trauma. I believe that every person’s experience is unique, and it’s my privilege to bear witness to their journeys.
As David Kessler so eloquently puts it, “There can be grief without trauma, but no trauma without grief.” My hope is that I can provide a space for those seeking to heal, where they can honor their experiences and connect with their minds, bodies, and spirits. To find themselves and reconnect with a hope that maybe they thought was lost.
