I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, supported, and empowered to be themselves. Whether you’re a child learning to navigate big emotions, a teenager facing life’s transitions, or an adult managing life’s challenges, my goal is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where healing and growth can happen.
I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Licensed Social Worker with a certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My professional background includes working as both a school social worker and therapist, giving me experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have worked with concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, life transitions, chronic illness, and more.
While I enjoy working with clients with a variety of needs, I have a special passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness or chronic pain. Through my own experience navigating chronic illness, I understand the emotional impact it can have on every aspect of life. While every person’s journey is unique, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, validated, and supported as they process the challenges of balancing physical health with emotional well-being.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I primarily utilize talk and play therapy while incorporating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, strengths-based interventions, and person-centered care. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, helping clients build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, I believe therapy is built on connection. I value developing authentic relationships with my clients and feel honored to walk alongside them as they build resilience, discover their strengths, and move toward the life they want to live.
