Renee Lukos, MA, MFT

Hi!  My name is Renee Lukos.  My path into counseling began with a personal calling to walk alongside those in their darkest seasons.  I recognize that life is hard and a lot of people do not have the support that they need, and many have lost hope. My heart breaks for the hurting but that only helps fuel me to help them. I want to walk alongside them when they need it most.  I believe that true healing happens when we address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

I have witnessed many people find healing by doing the hard work of therapy with relying heavily on their faith.  It is a beautiful thing and I find it an honor to be a part of that process.

I received my master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Wheaton College and have almost a decade of experience. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples as they navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, relational hurtand a disconnect in communication. Whether you are moving through grief or managing major life transitions, I’m here to help you.  My approach combines evidence-based techniques such as CBT, client centered therapy, narrative therapy with a foundation of our faith. Whether you are looking to strengthen your coping skills during a highly anxious time in your life or simply want a therapist who shares your worldview, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for your journey toward hope and healing.

Something I always want my clients to know is, you are stronger than you know!  I’m passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit and sound clinical practice. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your purpose, let’s walk together toward the healing God has for you. I would be more than happy to help you find your strength and hope.  You are not alone!  Let’s take this first step together!
